Lathi Prasad …

I remember how much I and my brother used to play with fire. Lighting fire was one of the exciting habit of ours.

Everytime we saw papa taking matchbox, we used to request him to let us light that and then I would call my brother and we used to play with fire..

I mean we never really played with it but scratching match stick on matchbox, lighting the stick was very satisfying…

We would take a big stick, tie a plastic bag at one of its end and we would light that plastic. Now when plastic burns, it melts and drops down in the form of fireballs that burn individually.

we would drop such balls all over and we used to see it burning from all sides .. that’s what we called playing with fire…

My father always told us not to play with it as those balls sometimes used to burnst based on how quality plastic was and it was thereby very much possible that one of those balls could burst onto us …

But we never listened to them .. especially my brother. I mean common, we were children back then. I was older so I at least understood why he always asked us not to play with it..

so I used to just light and come back but my brother used to keep playing with it and one day my father was true …

My brother was playing with it, dropping that plastic burning balls everywhere .. and he mistakenly dropped it onto one of the dry bigger tree around and it caught fire.

Wohaaaa .. !!!

tree burnt completely and luckily the fire did not catch much but it all came to me. When papa rushed to the fire and extinguished it, my brother told him that I did it. I saw him pointing to me and I got lot of ‘Lathi Prasad’ from papa.

Hahaha .. I did not say a word about anything but my brother felt it bad later.
